About Randy's Steakhouse

In 1902, a railroad was built through Collin Country and the city of Frisco was established. A year later, one of Frisco’s first settlers, T.J Campbell moved into a beautiful Victorian home built in 1869 on Main Street—a home that has now become Frisco’s best steakhouse. In fact, Randy’s Steakhouse has been voted “Best Steakhouse” by Frisco Enterprise every year since 2006, and has certainly earned its reputation for elegance, comfort, and fantastic food.

Randy Burks, the owner and head chef of Randy’s Steakhouse, began his culinary career over thirty years ago, working for Dale Wamstadt at Del Frisco’s Prime Steakhouse in 1986. After years of learning kitchen management and the art of being a Sous/ Head Chef, Randy purchased the T.J Campbell home and opened Randy’s Steakhouse in 1995. In addition to usual operations, Randy’s hosts monthly wine dinners—a tradition they have loved doing for 26 years!

Randy has lived in Frisco for decades and has seen the population grow rapidly; however, no matter the competition that arrives in Frisco, Randy’s Steakhouse remains as an original, “must try” steakhouse in the area. Randy has enjoyed raising his family in Frisco and being a part of the community. His daughter, Randie, graduated from UNT this past December.

Be sure to come visit Randy and his excellent steaks and wines in the heart of historical Frisco!
