Once baby is born and has been examined by your nurse and pediatrician, birthing mothers are transitioned to the comfortable Mother Baby unit, where our experienced staff will support and teach skills to confidently care for baby. Lactation consultants can provide one-on-one assistance as well. Rooms include a two-room suite at no extra cost allowing space for loved ones to visit, or a quiet space to rest for Mom and Baby.
Texas Health Frisco works to minimize separation of mothers and babies, so most education and exams are done within your room.
