Oak Dental’s own Dr. Reemon Ashoty, a resident of Frisco since 2009, was born and raised in Baghdad, Iraq where he earned his first dental degree in 2006 from The University of Baghdad’s College of Dentistry, 2nd degree is from the prestigious UCLA’s School of Dentistry in 2014 after moving to the United States. Dr.
Ashoty’s travels have allowed him to practice dentistry in many countries throughout his career. Dr Ashoty is proud of his commissioning with the US Army Reserve since 2019 and is now holding a rank of MAJOR with the Dental Branch of the Army. His focus is to grow his civilian and military careers, while raising a faith-focused family.
Dr. Ashoty is a member of the Academy of Aligners (which offers tremendous education about clear aligner therapy (Invisalign)), and holds a fellowship degree, a degree held by only 6% of general dentists, with the Academy of General Dentistry. His scope of practice involves all aspects of General dentistry and his expertise ranges from porcelain veneers/crowns to implants to invisalign.
Dr Ashoty can now correct a wide variety of cosmetic dental problems and can literally “redesign” your smile as he incorporates the high technology to serve the whole family. In his free time, Dr Ashoty enjoys spending time with his wife and their three children, Ryan, Ayla and Talya.
